Brazil international Willian is closing in on a return to Fulham, sources have told ESPN.
Willian, 36, is a free agent after he left Olympiakos in December. As he’s without a club, he can sign for Fulham outside of the transfer window, which shut on Monday.
Willian was spotted at Chelsea‘s 2-1 win over West Ham on Monday.
He played for Chelsea from 2013 to 2020, and then spent the 2020-21 season at Arsenal. After joining Corinthians for the 2021-22 campaign, he signed for Fulham in Sept. 2022 and made 67 appearances for the club, scoring 10 goals.
He left Craven Cottage at the end of last season and signed for Olympiakos, but left the Greek side at the end of December. Sources said he is undergoing a medical at Fulham and expect the deal will be completed soon for the 70-cap Brazilian.
