A week after updating App Store Connect for iOS with a new interface, Apple has now released an update for the Apple Developer app for iPhone and iPad. The new version brings support for the dark and tinted icon in iOS 18, as well as some other improvements.
What’s new with Apple Developer 10.7 for iOS
According to the release notes, version 10.7 of the Apple Developer app for iOS introduces a new option that lets users choose between a grid and list view for videos in a topic or event. The update also adds an indicator to show users when a video has been fully watched.
However, one of the most notable changes is certainly the support for the dark and tinted icon for devices running iOS 18 and later.
For those unfamiliar, the Apple Developer app helps developers keep up with news and videos about Apple’s platforms. The company also uses the app to stream WWDC sessions.
Last week, Apple also updated App Store Connect for iOS with a new interface and new features, including an option that generates assets to promote apps on social networks such as Instagram. This update to App Store Connect follows a major update to TestFlight released last month that also introduced a new design to the app.
