Aldi is the fourth-largest supermarket in the UK, and consumer champion Which? has named it the UK’s cheapest supermarket for the past four years.
The supermarket giant has discontinued several products recently much to the disappointment of shoppers.
Aldi revealed in September last year its Village Bakery Seeded Medium Sliced Loaf had been discontinued.
A month later it confirmed it had also axed Salted Caramel Teabags from it’s range of products.
Discontinued UK chocolates and sweets
Aldi was then forced to apologise when it announced its Moser Roth Vegan Blonde chocolate bar (100g) had also been discontinued despite fans labelling it “literally the best chocolate ever”.
Earlier this year the supermarket chain revealed its Very Berry Muesli had become the latest product to get the chop.
Aldi discontinues
It has now been revealed that Aldi’s Dairyfine Blonde chocolate bar has also been discontinued.
Fans on Facebook group Aldi Shoppers UK recently reported being unable to find the popular Aldi chocolate bar – which some described as tasting like Nestle’s Caramac.
One person posted: “Has Aldi stopped doing this chocolate bar? It’s our favourite …. thank you.
“It’ll be just our luck they have discontinued it.
“So much nicer than the ‘Cadbury one’ .. creamier and just so much nicer.”
Other shoppers took the opportunity to reveal just how much they loved the Dairyfine Blonde chocolate bar.
One person said: “Our favourite too, both that and the crispy, not been in our store for 3 weeks now.”
Another added: “I like their (Aldi) chocolate better than the branded ones.”
While a third person simply commented: “It’s lush.”
However, upon speaking to a manager at their local store, the Aldi shopper who created the post revealed the Dairyfine Blonde chocolate bar has been discontinued.

An Aldi spokesperson added: “We continually review our range of products to make sure we’re meeting the needs of Aldi shoppers.”
