Among the first few brands to kickstart Paris Fashion Week this season was the renowned French Maison, Dior, as Maria Grazia Chiuri unveiled the Women’s Fall Winter 2025 collection. This time, Chiuri took a transformative trip down the Dior memory lane; looking at aesthetics that belong in the House codes.
From Christian Dior to John Galliano and Gianfranco Ferré, Dior has seen numerous moments of critical highlights throughout its extensive history. For the Dior Women’s Fall Winter 2025, Maria Grazia Chiuri to showcase the allure of a basic white shirt and the significance of this piece of clothing in terms of gender stereotypes. As the show went on, the setting was one filled with changes — from the appearances of an iceberg and a prehistoric bird to lights that constantly transitioned between light and dark.
Maria Grazia Chiuri, who has been at Dior for nine years, has always introduced the notion of femininity in her designs. The collection is no different — celebrating the power that fashion can bring to women in terms of the way they dress and make themselves feel. On the runway, models, choreographed by Robert Wilson, appeared wearing the likes of dresses and skirts with baroque pearls and black velvet ribbons to technical jackets with appliqué embroidery.
The show was attended by the likes of Ameera Khan, Cristin Milioti, Elle Macpherson, Heart Evangelista, Jisoo, Lily James, Liu Yuxin, Mingyu Kim, Natalie Portman, Pia Wurtzbach, Sirilak Kwong and Tems.
