Given the location — 30 seconds from the Covent Garden piazza, with its bellowing street entertainers and tourist hordes — you’ll have a surprisingly great night’s sleep at the Henrietta. Things quieten down after 10pm around here and this 40-room hotel, spread across two Georgian townhouses, makes the ideal spot to crash after a West End show. Rooms go big on navy and pink, with the bulbous 1970s-style armchairs and curvy art deco headboards offering both high style and comfort. The owners, France-based Experimental Group, are known for their cocktail bars, so you must spend the evening downstairs at the buzzy bar-restaurant Henri. The drinks are next-level, the French bistro food even better.
