Mexico’s finance chief Rogelio Ramirez de la O will host a conference call with investors on Monday after US President Donald Trump ordered 25% tariffs on exports from the country, sending the peso plunging in the Asian market.
Ramirez De la O is scheduled to speak to investors at 9 a.m. Eastern Time on Monday, but will not take questions, according to an emailed invitation seen by Bloomberg News. The call will take place two days after Trump rattled markets by unleashing a tariff war against key US trade partners, including Canada and China.
