The boss of the gambling giant behind Sky Bet, Paddy Power and Betfair has hit the jackpot with his pay almost trebling to $22 million (£17 million) after the company moved its stock market listing from London to New York.

Peter Jackson, the British-based chief executive of Flutter Entertainment, was paid $22.2 million in salary, bonuses and benefits in 2024, up from $7.8 million in prior year.

Jackson was the best-paid among top executives at the former FTSE 100 company, who shared a $53 million bounty in the first year since moving its primary listing to the US.
