While testing the product at a souvenir stall, the dryer emitted a loud “pop” sound and thick white smoke, startling both the tourist and the stall owner. The entire scene was caught on video and quickly went viral, sparking heated discussions among netizens in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The tourist explained that curiosity led him to inquire about the performance of the fake Dyson hair dryer, wanting to see if it functioned similarly to the original. However, upon plugging in the device, the stall owner was caught off guard as the dryer began spewing smoke for over ten seconds. The owner, visibly shocked, exclaimed, “How could this happen?
