There are so many sales happening right now that it’s dizzying. Amazon’s Big Spring Sale has gobbled up most of my attention this week, but there are also good sales going on at Abercrombie & Fitch, Banana Republic, and Bloomingdale’s, to name just a few. And it’s not just fashion brands; I found some nice bedding on sale at the Company Store and West Elm and lots of beauty deals at Ulta. Below, I’ve rounded up my favorite deals in every category so you can take advantage of them all. Many end when March ends, so this weekend is your last chance to shop.
As always, make sure to sign up for the Strategist Sales Alert newsletter to receive each day’s best deals in your inbox. And if you want even more, sign up for our regular email newsletter, which includes deals just for newsletter subscribers.
Through March 31, A&F is offering 25 percent off everything — plus an extra 15 percent off with the code SPRINGAF. We’re fast approaching trench-coat season, so here’s a classic: khaki, tie-waist, water-resistant, and all.
Several of our most stylish Strategist staffers love Agnes B., and the brand is having a rare sale. Sizing is limited for most items, but this chic V-neck top is still in stock in all sizes, and it comes in both white and black.
We noticed a good sale going on at Alex Mill this morning (and this time you don’t need to log in with an email to access the deals). I’m most enamored with this all-cotton cardigan that’s 40 percent off and comes in navy blue, baby blue, and poppy red.
Far cheaper than the very similar-looking Reformation sundresses I’ve been eyeing.
Select travel and outdoorsy products are 25 percent off with the code LETSGO. Here’s a good shirt from the queen of flower tees, Tyler McGillivary.
The tooth-shaped claw clip that every cool dental assistant uses.
Most items are 25 percent off at Cos when you use the code COSFRIEND, so it might be worth it to nab some cashmere you’ll wear forever.
A huge bag for shlepping that won’t chafe your shoulders.
Everlane’s offering a pretty typical deal through March 31: up to 30 percent off select items, mostly jeans (for those who have been inspired by Jeans Month).
Gap’s Spring Style Event just got a little better. Now, nearly everything (including already-on-sale items) is 50 percent off (it was 40 percent off). Managing editor Kelsie Schrader recently bought this cropped sweatshirt because she hoped it would be the perfect simple black crewneck — and it is!
Writer Erin Schwartz says to get this kids’ heavyweight tee in husky sizing for a perfectly oversize fit.
As per usual, there’s plenty to be found in Nordstrom’s fashion section. Here’s a classic little black cardigan from Eloquii.
Kind of obsessed with these triple-sole Keds.
There are some really deep discounts at Nordstrom Rack. The pull-on Frame jeans that one stylist recommends to all her clients is 60 percent off (and in multiple lengths and washes, too!).
“Office siren” slacks that won’t get your reported to HR.
Fashion writer Ambar Pardilla tipped me off to the sample sale going on at Shrimps right now. She and beauty writer Dominique Pariso both have their eyes on this fabulous Gothic-princess coat.
But the best deals are definitely on the brand’s fancy costume jewelry. These earrings are almost $100 off!
Subset, formerly known as Knickey, has a lot of organic-cotton loungewear for half off right now. (Sadly, their best-in-class underwear is out of stock in pretty much every size, but it’s worth digging to see if your size is available.)
Another nice blue top for spring: this organic-cotton-and-linen sweater from Alex Mill’s surprise sale. Also comes in beige and black.
We’re in the midst of a big Amazon sale, and you know what that means: extremely discounted Levi’s.
Alex Crane is the maker of our favorite men’s linen T-shirt. The French linen is lightweight, and the relaxed fit offers plenty of ventilation.
’Tis the season for sailor stripes.
Handsome penny loafers made with soft leather and a sturdy bottom.
One of our best inexpensive black tees is now even cheaper — just $12.
Tech writer Jordan McMahon is a fan of these Gap jeans (that fit his hockey butt): “They fit snugly around my waist and butt while giving the rest of my legs plenty of room to breathe, and they’re extremely cozy to wear for a day of running errands,” he says.
The discount on these spring-y Nikes varies by color. At Nike’s site, yellow is $70, while burgundy, blue, and orange are $72. Beige is only on sale at Nordstrom, where it’s $84.
A silk-press necessity, now nearly half off. Stylist Latanya Williams recommended the serum to us, saying that it “adds softness and leaves the hair feeling light, with a natural, silky shine.”
I’ve been using this fragrance-free French-pharmacy moisturizer a lot this past month when I have retinol-induced dry patches or eczema. It’s quickly becoming a holy-grail product in my bathroom cabinet.
Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty has ended, but you still have one last chance to shop. The beauty retailer has put everything from the event back on sale — plus a few more additions — but only until tonight, so get a move on.
If you miss today’s sale, don’t fret: Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Ulta’s Spring Haul sale starts today and runs through April 5. This nonirritating, on-the-go facial hair-removal tool approved by Emma Roberts is 30 percent off.
At the Company Store, using the code SPRING25 at checkout gets you 60 percent off clearance items, 30 percent off select sheets and bedding, and 25 percent off pretty much everything else. You’ll be glad you got this Strategist-approved comforter with a cooling bamboo shell come summer.
Bearaby’s weighted blanket is at the top of our best-in-class list. It’s woven from a chunky yarn (as opposed to filling) that makes it quite breathable.
Another one of our number-one picks: Matouk’s bath towels, which home writer Lauren Ro say are still as soft, cushiony, bouncy, and absorbent as they were on day one even after a year of use.
For something more affordable, Ro also recommends Italic’s Ultraplush towels. “It’s incredibly absorbent — perhaps the most absorbent towel I’ve ever tried — and got me dry as soon as I wrapped it around my body,” she writes. Italic is offering 25 percent off sitewide for its anniversary sale, which Nordstrom is price-matching.
Nordstrom’s Spring Sale may technically be over, but plenty of the discounts are still live, like this super-sweet spoon rest.
Kitchen and dining writer Emma Wartzman’s favorite coasters are 30 percent off (and come in 14 color combos).
Good for pour-overs at home or even on the go.
So many Voluspa candles, diffusers, and room sprays are 25 percent off, so hop to it.
And once you’re done with your candles, here’s much more eco- and wallet-friendly way to re-up.
A whimsical little glass vase to display a handful of spring blooms.
All linen bedding is 30 percent off this weekend at Parachute, which is the best discount the brand ever offers. Several Strategist staffers swear by this duvet cover, which we named our best linen option; the European flax only gets softer over time.
West Elm Kids’ has a lot of sweet, spring-ready bedding on sale — and all of it will fit a full or queen–sized bed, too.
Most items from West Elm’s collaboration with Rhode are on sale. This squiggly rug would look equally lovely in a nursery or the living room.
