Jewish fashion designers course offered | Briefs

Case Western Reserve University’s Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will offer a remote course from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Thursdays from April 10 and May 15 about Jewish fashion designers and photographers. Registration is required by April 3.

“From The Rag Trade to Ralph Lauren: How Jewish Designers and Photographers Shaped Fashion,” instructed by Lee Rubinstein, will examine the history of Jewish designers including as Ralph Lauren, Judith Leiber, Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs who made the clothes and Jewish fashion photographers who made those garments famous.

The course is $100 for nonmembers. Members of the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will receive a discount.
