Billy Lee, who is employed by cash-strapped Caerphilly County Borough Council as a lollipop man outside Machen Primary School in Caerphilly, was told earlier this year he could lose his job in the restructuring of council operations.
The council told Billy it needed to make cuts due to a shortfall in the council budget of £47m.
