How to watch Chelsea vs. Leicester City – Premier League (3/9/25) | Channel, stream, preview

Mostly Sunny

The first of three English Premier League matches on Sunday sees two sides on opposite ends of the table go at it in London as Chelsea plays host to Leicester City.

Chelsea continues to have a much improved season compared to recent years, but there is still work to be done if they want to get into the top four. The Blues come out of the FA Cup break looking to make it back-to-back victories in league play, as they defeated Southampton emphatically, 4-0, a couple of weeks ago. It ended a brief two-match losing streak for the Blues, who are in the thick of a mud pile of clubs trying to secure European positions for next season.

Leicester is nowhere near that conversation. Instead, the club is starting down the barrel of relegation and is seemingly well on their way back to the EFL Championship, barring a miracle. They come into Sunday having lost four straight matches, including a 2-0 loss to West Ham last time out.

Chelsea is fifth in the EPL table, just one point back of Manchester City for fourth. Leicester City is tied with Ipswich Town for 18th, both five points behind Wolverhampton for 17th.
