AUSTIN, Texas — Republicans will hold a 220-215 majority over Democrats in the U.S. House. However, that majority is even slimmer as President-elect Donald Trump continues to nominate House members to Cabinet positions.

Democrats, led by Hakeem Jeffries in the House, will oppose Trump’s policies.
For an in-depth look at the challenges faced by both parties, Capital Tonight spoke with former Texas state Rep. Mark Strama and former Speaker of the Texas House Dennis Bonnen.
