West Ham United is trying to do its best to get out of the bottom three of the English Premier League. They look to snag some points on Sunday when the club visits Brighton & Hove Albion.
West Ham was abysmal to watch at the start of the season, as the club has not been able to hold its own against seemingly anybody. The Hammers went nearly three months without a win before picking up a stunning victory over Newcastle United a few weeks ago. After picking up points in three straight contests, West Ham fell to the defending champions, Liverpool, on Sunday.
The Hammers, who drew with Manchester United last Thursday, sit 18th in the table heading into Sunday’s contest, three points behind Leeds United.
Brighton has had a steady start to its campaign and is looking to stay consistent and stay in contention for a European spot. The club had a four-match point streak snapped last Wednesday, losing 4-3 on home soil to Aston Villa. It nixed the Seagulls’ chance to move into the top four, as the team currently sits seventh in the EPL.
