The 10 Best Places to See Celebrities During Miami Art Week

It’s no secret that Art Basel brings the world’s biggest stars to town each year. Last year, Leonardo DiCaprio popped up at the Miami Beach Convention Center for Art Basel, and celebs including Hailey Bieber, Camila Cabello, and recent Dancing With the Stars competitor Alix Earle have frequented other fairs and activations.

During Art Week, Hollywood’s finest flock to the 305 not just to scope out the art but to participate in panels and perform at exclusive events. Looking to see how the other half lives? Here are some of the best places to spot the rich and famous during Miami Art Week.

The Art of Hip Hop

In Wynwood, The Art of Hip Hop’s new exhibition features work by British-Nigerian designer and artist Slawn, who has produced artwork for some of the genre’s biggest artists, including Gunna, Skepta, Central Cee, and the late designer and entrepreneur Virgil Abloh. Given the artist’s extensive list of celebrity clientele, his next high-profile collaborators are likely to make appearances over the weekend. Delilah

Brickell’s exclusive Delilah is packed with familiar faces on any given night. For Art Week, the restaurant is teaming up with Chase Sapphire Reserve for an evening of cocktails and music by famed rapper and DJ Channel Tres, best known for hits “Controller” and “Topdown.” With his past collaborators including Tinashe and Tokimonsta — and Delilah’s discreet environment — you’re sure to spot a celebrity or two while you’re there. E11even attracts A-listers on a weekly basis. With past guests including Cardi B and Drake, partygoers aren’t just wowed by superstar performances at the nightclub — they also get a chance to mingle with the jet set. Miami Art Week simply heightens the experience. This week’s lineup features three of the world’s top DJs — Tiësto, Diplo, and Marshmello — and you can rest assured their posses will show up to dance, too. LIV

Whether they’re performing or popping bottles, celebrities are fixtures at LIV. The club pulls out all the stops during Art Week, and this year’s lineup is no different. Gunna, Tiësto, Black Coffee, and John Summit are all set to perform as part of the club’s Basel series if you’re looking for a star-studded afterparty. Miami Beach Convention Center

It’s not only about swanky soirees for the stars who flock to Miami this week. Many of them are collectors, and the Miami Beach Convention Center is the place to be for an epic art haul. In addition to DiCaprio, music mogul Clive Davis, Robert De Niro, and Jared Leto have been known to pay the convention center a visit during Art Basel. Museum of Graffiti

The Museum of Graffiti has secured at least one high-profile guest for Miami Art Week. Daymond John will host a Shark Tank-style event at the Wynwood venue, with emerging and established artists pitching their dream projects to the entrepreneur and author alongside venture capitalist Julia Steyn and Inked Nine president Andre Crawford. Padel Activation at Scope 

Pro Padel League is setting up shop on the beach behind Scope’s tent for an activation featuring appearances by the league’s top athletes and other A-listers. Alex Rodriguez, Camila Cabello, and Ashtin Earle are slated to attend, and you can watch the celebs and professionals battle it out or participate in some of the games yourself. Palm Tree Club

Palm Tree Club may be new in town — it opened during Miami Art Week last year — but it’s no slouch when it comes to luring celebs. Alix Earle, Taylor Fritz, Diplo, and many others made appearances during the club’s inaugural week, and while we don’t yet know who’s RSVP’d this year, performers include John Summit and Disclosure. This Brickell sushi spot has been known to draw the likes of Mary J Blige, Lady Gaga, Jamie Foxx, and Drake on any given night. During Art Week, the stakes are even higher. The Wellness Oasis

This two-day wellness event at Reserve Miami Seaplane is a welcome respite from Basel chaos, but it’s every bit as star-studded. Lindsay Lohan and Sloane Stephens are slated to speak on the first day, while Noah Lyles, Lauren London, and Peter Tunney will headline the second day. Who knows? You could wind up testing Tonal’s latest workout equipment next to one of the fastest men in the world, or maybe get a massage from Hyperice’s technicians with world-famous actors sitting in the next chair.
