Tesha Crump and Sonja Enfinger discuss the Women for Women 2025 Annual Fundraiser and Fashion Show

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The Women for Women 2025 Annual Fundraiser and Fashion Show represents leadership, legacy, and empowerment, and it is a celebration of sisterhood, style, and professional success.

The President of the Alabama Leading Ladies Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association, Tesha Crump, and Ms. Senior Huntsville, Sonja Enfinger, joined 48 Now to share more about the impactful event.

Crump said the event started as an idea in a chapter meeting, and after months of planning, the vision for the event is coming to life.

Funds raised at the event will go towards the Alabama Leading Ladies Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association and to the Stephen Bufton Memorial Education Fund. Crump said that the fund supports women who want to go back to school and supports women’s businesses.

Enfinger said as Ms. Senior Huntsville, her goal with partnering with this organization for the event is to help honor and support different women in the community and to bring awareness to different nonprofits.

Crump wants the event to inspire women and help women in the community network and connect with one another.

“We want to make sure we have women in our community that’s local to display boutiques, their businesses, and that’s what our organization is about. It’s about diversity and inclusion, and making sure that whatever dream that you have that it can come to fruition,” Crump said.

“This event ties into helping one another shine. That’s what’s most important. Our organization is about education, it’s about networking, it’s about ensuring that we have a strong sisterhood with each other.”

Enfinger shares the same sentiment that her goal as Ms. Senior Huntsville is to promote, connect, empower, and uplift women across the state.

“It is a sisterhood. We’re lifting people up and letting their light shine and bringing awareness to their cause,” Enfinger said.

The Women for Women 2025 Annual Fundraiser and Fashion Show will have a few women keynote speakers, panelists, a fashion show, food, vendors, and a silent auction.

There will be a variety of vendors in attendance, including business coaching and rebranding vendors, and jewelry and clothing vendors. Some vendors will also be donating items that people can win at the event in a raffle.

Crump and Enfinger said they want women at the event to build valuable connections with one another and use this as a networking opportunity.

“That’s what we want to do in sisterhood is make an impact with each other and promote each other, and making an impact on one person makes all the difference in the world. You never know who’s watching, and they may think they can do anything they want to do and shine brightly,” Enfinger said.

Crump and Enfinger encourage all attendees to bring their business cards and share their work with others at the event as a way to support each other. They hope people will walk away encouraged to pursue their dreams.

“I hope that when they walk away from this event that they’re actually walking into their purpose and they’re walking into their journeys and they’re continuing to manifest whatever dream it is that they’re having. Dreams do come true, you just have to remember to stay focused and stay positive,” Crump said.
