Former prime minister Naftali Bennett cautioned European nations that the recognition of a Palestinian state will only breed more terrorism across the globe.

Former prime minister Naftali Bennett warned that recognition of a Palestinian state would lead to the creation of a “full-blown terror state” in a post on X/Twitter on Sunday.

“We tried a Palestinian state before and it became a terror state, a full-blown terror state,” he said, “from their terrorist state in Gaza they launched a horrible massacre and slaughtered 1163 civilians,” referencing the October 7 massacre committed by Hamas terrorists in 2023.

Bennet warned that what Israel experienced on October 7 was a “pilot” of what may be to come, cautioning that “ISIS terror is on its way.”

‘We’ve learned this the hard way, will you?’

The leadership of many European nations have recently announced their intent to recognize a Palestinian state, a move that many have decried as a “reward” for Hamas and an incentive to commit further terrorism. Specifically addressing the video to France and Europe, Bennett stated that they will “pay the price for rewarding this Islamist terror.”

Hamas has expressed appreciation for the recognition, stating that it is “an important step” in “establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.”

Bennet brought up a recent uptick in extremism in Europe as a harbinger of more to come, citing the example of “radicalized Muslim minorities” in France. “They’ve already said their goal is to kill Christian infidels. They’ve already launched terror attacks all across Europe.”

“We’ve learned this the hard way, will you? Palestine today means Paris tomorrow,” Bennett concluded.

Rising antisemitism in France

France has seen a wave of violent and chaotic anti-Israel protests and incidents targeting Jewish and Israeli communities as well as Jewish and Israeli establishments.

French President Emmanuel Macron has been very vocal regarding his criticism of the Israeli government and the ongoing Israel-Hamas War. Many, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, have slammed Macron for his position and for choosing to recognize a Palestinian state.
