A flurry of celebrities have shared their congratulations to Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, who announced their engagement on Instagram last night. As eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice, Hailey Bieber was among the A-listers showing her support for the happy news.
Hailey Bieber’s Instagram account was among the over 16 million users who liked the post, which featured photos of Gomez’s brand-new marquise diamond engagement ring. Other snaps showed Gomez smiling on a picnic blanket set up in a studio that designed to look like a park, as well as the newly-engaged fiancés embracing each other as Gomez lifted her hand to the camera.
“Forever begins now,” the Only Murders in the Building star wrote in the caption. Blanco commented, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”
Other celebrities vocalized their excitement for the news in the comment section, too.
Gomez’s longtime best friend, Taylor Swift, cheekily wrote, “Yes I will be the flower girl.”
Jennifer Aniston sent her love to Gomez by writing, “HONEY!! Congratulations sweet mama! ❤️”

Bieber—who is married to Gomez’s ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber—has previously addressed rumors of a feud between her and Gomez during a 2022 appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
Acknowledging that Justin and Gomez rekindled their on-and-off relationship just months before they tied the knot in 2018, Bieber said, “I think it was the best thing that could have happened for him to move on and be engaged and get married and move on with his life in that way. I know what was going on when we got back together, and I know what had to happen for that to come back together in a healthy way.”
The Rhode founder added that she and Justin are “so far moved on from any type of drama” and that they don’t “want to stir anything up or bring anything up.”
“[Fans] wish that he had ended up with someone else, and that’s fine. You can wish that all you want, but that’s just not the case,” she concluded. “If we have moved on, why can’t you?”
