FARGO — The Daily Thread, a fast fashion retailer in the West Acres Shopping Center, is closing.

The final scheduled day of business is May 31, District Manager Linda Peterson confirmed Tuesday, April 15.

“However, if we sell out before then, we’ll close when we’re sold out,” Peterson said.

Customers can still use their gift cards, she said.

Peterson could not comment on why the store in the J.C. Penney wing was closing, but did say that sales were not a problem.

“It does very, very well,” she said.

Merchandise is marked at 70% off, Peterson said.

“Everything has got to go,” she said.

The Daily Thread opened its Fargo store on April 13, 2022, in the space previously occupied by Christopher & Banks

The Daily Thread store in Minot remains open, Peterson said. The Bismarck store recently closed at the Kirkwood Mall.
