ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Celebrating graduating seniors in style! That’s what happened at the Color in Blanco event Sunday at MLK Park.
The event gave guests the chance to show off their fashion sense with an all white attire dress code, and it’s all for a good cause! Two seniors, from both high school and college, were awarded with scholarships during the event.
“Essentially, it’s a effort that was pulled together by several different volunteers within the Rochester area because we wanted to be able to celebrate our culture in all white as best as humanly possible,” said Ashley & Lomax Campbell.
Guests also got to enjoy food, music, and urban culture at the event.
