INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Bridge work is set to begin after the July 4 holiday weekend on U.S. 31 over Pleasant Run Creek in Greenwood, the Indiana Department of Transportation said Monday.
A $3.7 million bridge deck overlay project will begin on or after Monday, July 7, and is expected to be completed by mid-November, INDOT says.
During construction, U.S. 31 between Main Street and Smith Valley Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction using temporary crossovers.
Drivers are advised to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid traveling in and near work zones.
All work is weather-dependent.
