DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) –Dress for Success Quad Cities is marking a major milestone with the 10th annual Recycle the Runway, a fashion fundraiser that blends sustainability, creativity, and purpose — all in support of empowering local women to thrive in work and life.
This year’s fashion show which will feature a record-breaking 16 designers will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 27 at Stern Center in Rock Island.
The runway looks are crafted from recycled boutique materials with themed collections inspired by Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. KWQC’s Morgan Ottier will be the emcee.
There will be interactive guest stations like the Bloom Bar, Candle Bar, and Water-to-Wine Pull and live voting for the People’s Choice Award.
Event schedule
- Designer Meet & Greet: Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 5:30 p.m. at Crawford Brew Works — 3659 Devils Glen Road, Bettendorf. Attendees will be entered into a raffle to win a free pair of tickets.
- Main event: Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 5:30 p.m. at The Stern Center — 1713 3rd Avenue, Rock Island.
