Former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall is set to make a dramatic return to the cage, but faces a tough test in the experienced Mariusz Pudzianowski
Eddie Hall bids to emerge victorious on his return to the cage, but faces a tough test in MMA veteran Mariusz Pudzianowski.
The super-heavyweight showdown will see the two former strongmen clash inside the octagon. Hall was named the World’s Strongest Man in 2017 before making the switch to in-ring competition. Hall, 37, began inside the boxing ring, but lost on his debut to Thor Bjornsson in 2022.
He then made the move to MMA and went on to knock out the Neffati Brothers. That said, Pudzianowski will prove to be a huge step up in competition. Pudzianowski, 48, has 27 MMA fights under his belt. 12 of his 17 career wins have come by way of knockout. Not only that, the 48-year-old was named the World’s Strongest Man five times during his career. And so, here’s everything you need to know about the card…

Quotes corner
Eddie Hall: “The standing and banging is obviously my favourite. And I think that’s where I better him—the standing and banging, if I’m being honest. I’ve got the power, I’ve got the speed, and I’ve got a good chin. I know I’ve got a good chin. The grappling is all new to me. Although I’m not going to sit here and say, ‘I’m going to beat a black belt…’”
Mariusz Pudzianowski: “Eddie, you’re in for a lot of hard work. I’m not going to give up easily. You know it well that I fight until the very end. You’re about to see what lack of oxygen means. This is not boxing, this is MMA.”
